Prison Contraband Smart Phone Mitigation Planning

The number of smartphones is on the rise in our prison system

Homeland Advisory Group is now offering mitigation planning that addresses the increasing problem of Contraband Smart Phones in the US prison system.  Despite rules and regulations banning the use of wireless phones by inmates, they are reportedly purchasing and receiving these devices from staff, contractors, visitors, and a variety of other sources.

The National Counter-Terrorism Center reports smart phones now allow inmates to post on social networking sites, coordinate protests with inmates in other prisons, and potentially plan and coordinate illegal activities.

REMEMBER: The jamming of cell phone signals within custody and corrections facilities is prohibited by federal law!

Our new planning approach addresses the source of the contraband and provides management the detection training, protocol, and tools they need to eliminate this issue.
